Was cruising the ol’ Twitter and came across this sweet post by @mizucatofficial showing off these rad Gameboy shells they’re working on. They got that old trapper keeper vibe but also reminiscent of the old NES controller skins that came in Nintendo Power back in the day. Really cool stuff. I’ll be following this project as my Gameboy looks war torn.
Mega Man is an undeniable classic series. I’ve been a fan since I got the original game as a kid. It’s quite a challenge but was always a ton of fun to me, I can still run through it fairly quickly too. In the past I’ve seen Turbografx ports and while a bit jenky they were serviceable. I’m hoping this SNES port does the game some more justice.

I’ve dusted off this ol’ girl of a website. I’ve lost all the files and stuff and things, so we’re starting fresh. Cool. Now you’re wondering what is this site all about? It’s about video games. Retrogaming isn’t much of the rage as it was when I first launched this site a decade ago. But people are still having fun with it. I’ll reporting on all things video games and retro/classic related. I’ll also be diving in and spotlighting different things in my collection. I’ve missed talking about video games, and with the current status and cesspool of social media I figure this is the best way to discuss my favorite hobby. So I hope you like the site. I’ll be working on getting it visually up to date and then dropping content regularly. Thanks for your patience with me.
